A STAR FOR A STARR

Ringo is delighted, having heard the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce will be honoring him with a star in 2010 on the Walk Of Fame.

Ringo said, "A star for a Starr - what an honor and a privilege it is to be walked on! Peace & Love."

Former Beatle Ringo Starr will be one of 28 entertainers who’ll be getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2010, according to Contact Music.

Next year, the Hollywood Walk of Fame is celebrating its 50th anniversary too.

Ringo will be the third Beatle to get a star of his own, as former bandmates John Lennon and George Harrison already have one. Surprisingly enough, Sir Paul McCartney doesn’t have one yet, even though he has been approved for one, according to BBC News. Congrats to Ringo!
